Kings Diwali Show (2006)
Part of Kings College London Bhangra team 2006, participating in one of the biggest charity shows in Europe (GKT).
Mastana 2006 (2005-2006)
Choreographer of long dance exploring all sorts of style from hip hop to bollywood for a large group of students of about 27 people. This was for the biggest charity cultural show in East Anglia. Which involved several weeks of training and teaching the dance to this group.
Baal Kala Darshan VI (2005)
Choreographer for dance for a children's organisations' production. Thich involved choreographing a dance with the theme of 'East meets West' (ie hip hop style along with bhangra and raasgarba). As well as teaching the dance to 16 children, who were novice dancers, and manaing three successful shows across the UK of audiences 500+.
BBC Hustle (2005)
Danced in a part of a Kudos Production for the BBC (Hustle). This was as part of 'Masti', which involved choreographing a piece to a very different style of music, as well as being prepared to teach several actors.
MIT SAAS C-show (2005)
Took part in MIT South Asian American Student's Cultural show, in Boston. Was in the Raasgarba dance, as well as playing tabla in ther acts.
BU Fatakada (2004-2005)
Participated as a member of
Boston University Raasgarba Team (in USA). The team has taken part in several big national raasgarba competitions.
MIT Bhangra (2004)
Auditioned and successfully danced as part of
Massachusetts Institute of Technology Bhangra Team (in USA). Taking part in several big national bhangra competitions.
Masti (2004)
Co-founded and am main choreographer of dance troupe (
Masti). This dance troupe performaed at various shows in 2004 including Mayballs held in Cambridge for 1000 and more people. The dances were a mixture of Indian styles including Bollywood, Raasgarba and Bhangra.
Mastana 2004 (2003-2004)
Took part in the biggest cultural show in East Anglia. A dance embracing bollywood and bhangra, with a large group of approximately 20 people.
